“Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, today is the day…the wedding is today!”
You would think these were the words spoken by the bride on one of the biggest days of her life, but no, this was the phrase franticly running through my mind the morning of June 6, 2013. Why? Well, ladies and gentlemen, this is my first official wedding! And despite my hesitations the morning of, I would like to think I nailed it.
But enough about me and more about this beautiful couple!
This is Chayse and Zach, a fun-loving couple from Salt Lake City, UT, who were married on probably the best day of the year, June 6. (my birthday!) Their rustic inspired wedding was held at Louland Falls, literally a hidden gem nestled within the mountains between Salt Lake City and Park City, Utah. With Chayse in a princess Vera Wang gown and Zach in his denim and boots, they really incorporated both of their own styles into their attire for their big day, as well as the décor. With Pinterest as her main source of inspiration and a very creative Maid-of-Honor, every piece of décor was handmade, refurbished, or embellished, and touched with burlap, twine, or lavender. One of the DIY pieces I fell in love with was the burlap banner that hung on the head table and had the bride and groom’s names written across it. So cute! And I can’t forget to mention their fur baby, Pepper, who was probably the cutest ring bearer ever.
There were so many wonderful things about Chayse and Zach’s special day, I am so happy that I was apart of it and able to capture every second of it. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU Chayse and Zach (and family!) for trusting me to photograph one of the most memorable days of your lives. I am forever grateful.
It is really fantastic to have people in your life that truly believe in what you do. I hope you all enjoy these photos as much as I do.
